Europe’s national libraries receive copies of Azerbaijani literature printed book
The Azerbaijan Translation Centre (AzTC) is pleased to announce that copies of Mystery, a collection of short stories from Azerbaijan, and produced in Germany, have been distributed to European national libraries. The project aims to promote Azerbaijani literature worldwide.
The collection can be found in national libraries in several countries across Europe, including the libraries of Berlin University, Ruhr University Bochum, the University of Bamberg, Yena University, the University of Freiburg, the Martin Luther University of Halle, the University of Bern, the University of Luxembourg, Centre for Literary and Cultural Research Berlin, East European Institute of Munich, the University of Vienna, city libraries at Innsbruck, Graz and Salzburg, and Liechtenstein Cultural Centre.
The collection includes short stories by Jalil Mammadguluzade, Mir Jalal, Isa Huseynov, Sabir Ahmadli, Isi Melikzade, Magsud Ibrahimbekov, Yusif Samadoglu, Anar, Elchin, and Movlud Suleymanly. The translators into German are Lutz Engel, Helga Pabl, Sena Dogan, Hilda Tanik, Merion Kubin-Semyonova, Waltraut Schröder and Wolfram Schröder from Germany and Austria.
