The New Ambassador of Jordan Visits AzSTC
The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC) on Wednesday received a visit from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Azerbaijan, Sami Abdullah Ghosheh.
The meeting focused on upcoming projects aimed to enhance literary ties between Azerbaijan and Jordan, promotion of Azerbaijan literature and distribution of translated and published in Arabic in Egypt a two-volume book An Anthology of Modern Azerbaijan Stories, the novel The Head by Azerbaijan’s prominent writer Elchin Efendiyev, a book History or Biography of the Azerbaijani People by Dr Nizami Jafarov, and the book Azerbaijani-Arabic Phrasebook among the National Library of Jordan and other leading libraries of the Kingdom.
In conclusion, the guest was donated copies of books published in Arabic, translated and published by AzSTC.
