As part of Azerbaijan’s Realities in a Virtual World, an Azerbaijan State Translation Centre project to promote Azerbaijani literature worldwide, El Salvador-based Literatura y poesía (Literature and Poetry), one of the most commonly visited pages, has shared on its Facebook page a video. The video in Spanish features the history of ‘Leyli and Majnun’, the First Opera of the Muslim East, based on a poem by Muhammad Fuzuli, one of Azerbaijan’s greatest poets and philosophers.
Along with the information about Azerbaijan’s prominent composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli and Muhammad Fuzuli, the video mirrors the history of the artistic masterpiece.
