Modern Azerbaijani Poetry on Russian Literary Portal
Online- knigi, a reputable Russian-language literary portal, has posted the verses from the book An Anthology of Modern Azerbaijan Literature published in Moscow in 2015 as part of AzSTC’s project titled “Azerbaijan Literature in a Virtual World” (Poetry).
The portal mainly publishes fiction (prose, poetry, drama), as well as historical, military, and journalistic work. Samples of pieces in Russian translation by internationally renowned authors, such as James Joyce, Vladimir Nabokov, Gabriel Garcia Márquez, William Golding, Paulo Coelho, Khaled Hosseini, John Fowles, Patrick Süskind are available to be read online by broad masses.
