“Inkitt.com” and “Medium.com” US-based popular portals have posted in English the short stories “The Sparrows” and “The German Church” by Afaq Masud, the People’s Writer of Azerbaijan.

The author of the translation of the short stories is Anne Thompson, the notable British translator.

It is worth noting that the portals “Inkitt.com” and “Medium.com”, which have a wide auditorium of readers, regularly publish works by such outstanding writers as Leo Tolstoy, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, James Joyce, Franz Kafka, Virginia Woolf, Scott Fitzgerald, to name a few.
