Isi Malikzade’s Creativity on German Literature Magazine

LESERING.de, a popular German e-literature magazine, has posted in German the short story Salt by Isi Malikzade, the notable Azerbaijani writer, as part of the AzSTC project “Azerbaijan Literature in an International Virtual World”.

The authors of the translation of the short story presented with information about the writer’s creativity are Hans-Jürgen Maurer, the well-known German translator, and Gulare Heydarova, a German language specialist.

It is worth noting that the e-literature magazine, which has a wide auditorium of readers, regularly publishes works by such famous writers and poets as Franz Kafka, Hugo von Hofmannsthal, Johann Wolfgang Goethe, Erich Kastner, Pablo Neruda, to name a few.

·               the writer-playwright;

·               was born in Aghjabadi District;

·               graduated from Azerbaijan Industry Institute;

·               his books, such as The Legend of the Silver Lake, I Have Sprayed the Streets with Water, The Green Night, The Sunny Autumn, Light of the Dewy Meadows, have been published;

 

·               is the screenwriter of such films as A Man’s Word, I Want to Get Married, A Boy on a White Horse.
