Azerbaijan State Translation Centre, National Writers Union of Georgia Sign MOU
The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC) and the National Writers Union of Georgia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The document is designed to promote and expand literary and cultural ties between the two countries; to translate and publish samples of classical and modern literature; to arrange book presentations, roundtables, and online conferences; to make publications accessible to a wider reading audience, as well as to ensure continuous major media coverage and a wide distribution in state and public libraries.
The MoU was signed by Board Chair of the AzSTC Afag Masud and Chair of the National Writers Union of Georgia Makvala Gonashvili.

Deadline for Submission of Literary Works to the “BAY LEAF” Contest Prolonged
The deadline for submission of translated works has been prolonged until July 31, 2022, considering the numerous applications of those willing to participate in the “BAY LEAF” (“Dəf(i)nə yarpağı”) Literary Contest.
