Embassy of Turkey, Translation Centre Eye Joint Projects in Literature
The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzTC) on Wednesday received a visit from Erkan Özoral, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan.
The meeting discussed future inter-literary projects, as well as the preparation and online distribution of video and audio content on Karabakh conflict and Khojaly genocide to help bar Armenians from spreading false and distorted information over the internet.
The meeting also focused on the publication in Ankara of Verses of Love by Mikayil Mushfig, Azerbaijan’s great poet and a victim of 1937-8 repressions and the publication in Baku of the book to include works by Turkish authors as the continuation of these editions - the two-volume Anthology of Modern Azerbaijani Literature published in 2015 in Ankara, and the Anthology of Modern Turkish Literature" (prose and poetry) in Baku.
