Georgian Literature Portal Shares Shahmar’s Short Story
Axali saunce, a crowd-pleasing Georgian literature portal, has posted in Georgian a short story “The Loss” by Shahmar, a notable Azerbaijani writer, as part of the AzSTC project “Azerbaijan Literature in a Virtual World”. The portal also provides detailed information on the writer.
The translator is Imir Mammadli, the Georgian language translator-coordinator at the AzSTC..
The Axali saunce literature portal, financed by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport of the Republic of Georgia, continually updated, regularly publishes samples of pieces by internationally renowned writers and poets, such as Charles Dickens, Vladimir Mayakovsky, Velimir Khlebnikov, Harold Pinter, Roland Barth, Olga Tokarchuk, Italo Calvino, to name a few.
