Fidel Coloma: “Establishing Literary Exchanges in Online Format Is One of the Most Important Challenges We Face”
The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC) received a visit from Fidel Coloma, Chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Chile to Azerbaijan.
The parts discussed the further steps to be taken with a view to expanding literary ties between Azerbaijan and Chile and establishing literary exchanges in online format.
Fidel Coloma: “Presenting works by Azerbaijani writers, especially poems by Nizami Ganjavi, the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker, to Chilean readers, and works by Chilean writers to Azerbaijani readers in a more effective and online format will have a positive impact on the intensity of literary exchange. Currently, our embassy is working in this direction, and relevant studies are being carried out on posting works of Azerbaijani writers on Chilean literary portals. We are confident that this project will build bridges of friendship and understanding between our peoples and make a significant contribution to the literary and cultural life of both countries.”
