‘Leyli and Majnun’ at Frankfurt International Book Fair

The book ‘Leyli and Majnun’, recently published by the German Hans-Jürgen Maurer Publishing House in German translation, is exhibited at the section “Azerbaijan Literature” at the Frankfurt International Book Fair, one of the world’s largest book fairs, at the initiative of the Azerbaijan State Translation Centre.
The book has been translated by Rudolf Gelpke, a notable German translator. The author of the foreword is Rustam Aliyev, a well-known scientist-researcher of Nizami’s creativity, and the editor Hans-Jürgen Maurer - the renowned German publisher.
The book will soon be placed in central libraries and bookstores in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg and presented to the public.
