Georgian Literary Hub Shares Poems from Azerbaijan’s Salam Sarvan
As part of Azerbaijani Literature in a Virtual World, an Azerbaijan State Translation Centre project to promote Azerbaijani literature worldwide, Georgia’s proven online literary portal arilimag.ge has posted poems by a famous Azerbaijani poet, Salam Sarvan. These poems in Georgian translation include, The Path, Lines, Village and Sugar, The Voice of the Fridge, Like Trams, No Reason for Missing, The Bridge, Love, The Man, The Tightrope Walker, The Forgotten, Life, The Morning, The Departure, Way of Life, The Photo and the Background, The View, to name a few.
The translator is Imir Mammadli.
Founded in 2008, the portal regularly posts works by notable world authors, such as Gustav Flober, Thomas Elyot, Albert Camus, Joseph Brodsky, Mario Vargas Llosa, Zbiqnev Herbert, Magda Novakovski and Sylvia Plath.
