Opera Leyli and Majnun in Foreign Media
As part of Azerbaijani Realities in a Virtual World, an Azerbaijan State Translation Centre project to promote Azerbaijani realities worldwide, Egyptian proven online news sites albraq-news.com, dmcnews.org, yaf3press.net, alwasela.com, albidda.net, news-sinaa.com, and Ukrainian news sites kievinform.com and buta.in.ua have posted a video featuring the history of ‘Leyli and Majnun - the First Opera in the Muslim World’ in Arabic and Ukrainian languages.
Along with the information about Uzeyir Hajibayli, the prominent Azerbaijani composer and author of the opera, and Mohammed Fizuli, the great Azerbaijani poet, the video provides information on the history of the artistic masterpiece.
